The Praying without Planning Group

This group prays all manners of prayers and even have the faith that can move mountains but thereafter, sit back and wait for what they have prayed for to fall into their laps.

After praying, they go about their normal routine, doing things the way they have always done them without being strategic and intentional because they didn’t put any specific plan in place.

No wonder the years come and go and their lives remain stagnant—they have very little to show for all their prayers and special seeds. They become angry, bitter, frustrated and some fall away from the faith. Some change their church and some begin to look for one witch or another in their houses and place of work without knowing that their problem is a failure to plan.

They refuse to realise that he that fails to plan has already planned to fail. The words of God says in Proverbs 14:23 (KJV) “In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.”

The Solution to Praying without Planning

Getting angry at your spouse, children or pastor will not help you. Suspecting any witch or wizard attacking your life, finances and business is not the solution. Changing church or sowing more special seeds is also not the solution.

The solution is getting Knowledge. The word of God says, my people—God’s people, praying people, tongue-speaking people—are destroyed for lack of knowledge. The solution is getting Wisdom.

It is written, wisdom is the principal thing; with all thy getting, get understanding. The solution is to pray and plan. Get knowledge about planning. Get the wisdom of planning and get the understanding of planning.

A Warning

For those praying without planning, James 2:14 (KJV) is warning you. “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?” Apostle James went further to say this in James 2:17-18 (KJV), “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”

James 2:20-24, 26 (KJV)

“But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

Luke 14:28-30 (KJV)

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, [30] Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

Matthew 7:24-27 (KJV)

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

To Both Groups

Ecclesiastes 11:5-6 (KJV)

“As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.”

Conclusion

So let the two groups plan and pray and pray and plan. To make the year 2022 your best year ever, plan as much as you can plan and also pray without ceasing. Give God his place in your life, family and business and the year 2022 will be a different year for you.
